Rick Mireles

Community Engagement Manager

Rick Mireles has been at the DCPA since 2016 as a resident stage manager/assistant stage manager working on Theatre Company and Off-Center productions. Some of the productions he has had the pleasure of working on include Quixote Nuevo, In the Upper Room, Between Us, Theatre of the Mind, DragOn and Goodnight Moon the musical. Rick has also worked regionally with other theatre companies such as: Butterfly Effect Theater Company (BETC), The Catamounts, Creede Repertory Theatre, The Colorado New Play Festival, Montana Shakespeare in the Parks & School, and The Eugene O’Neill Theatre Center. He is also an associate producer with Clover and Bee Productions (Denver), BlackInk Presents (Los Angeles, CA), and has also worked with Meow Wolf | Convergence Station. Rick holds a BA and MA in Theatre from the University of Texas Pan-American (now UT-RGV) and earned his MFA in stage management from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Rick is proud member of Actor Equity and the recipient of the inaugural 2022 Colorado LGBTQ Chamber of Commerce: 40 under 40 Business Leaders. He is excited to join the community engagement team and bring his background in stage management and the arts to help support and connect with Denver community and beyond.
