Jane Williams
Chief Financial Officer
Jane Williams has served as the Chief Financial & Administrator Officer for the Denver Center for the Performing Arts since 2019. Jane is responsible for the financial health and sustainability of the organization. Her day-to-day responsibilities include oversight of Accounting & Finance, IT and Venue Operations.
She joined the DCPA in 2019. With more than 30 years of experience in nonprofit finance, Jane oversees the DCPA’s finance and accounting team managing the organization’s financials, investments, $70 million budget and $64M net assets. She also oversees Information Technology, and Venue Operations including engineering, custodial, security and safety and patron experience.
Jane has a passion for mission-driven nonprofit organizations which are deeply rooted in culture, the arts and education. She has enjoyed an extensive career in the nonprofit sector serving in executive finance positions. After graduating from the College of Saint Benedict (CSB), a nationally leading liberal arts college, she worked for CSB for more than 20 years. She served in various finance roles including Controller and Project Team Lead for enterprise-wide software implementations.
The collaborative and diverse environment of academia provided a strong foundation for her move to the Science Museum of Minnesota (SMM). Leading the Finance and Accounting team at SMM, she managed the organization’s $60M budget, $115M net assets and related investments. She served on the organization’s strategic planning team providing strategic direction for SMM’s future.
Upon relocating to Colorado, she served as the Chief Financial Officer for Clayton Early Learning (Denver, CO) providing executive leadership and strategic management for Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, Facilities and Operations.
