Alex Campbell
(she/her) is an actor, performer, and local teaching artist. After graduating with her MFA in Acting from The University of Connecticut, she now teaches with The University of Colorado at Colorado Springs.
Alex earned her undergraduate in Musical Theatre from The University of Northern Colorado. As a teaching artist, she worked with the The Great River Shakespeare Festival, The Colorado Fine Arts Center at Colorado College as well with Theatreworks: Colorado Springs’ Shakespeare in the Schools education program, and was on faculty with The Colorado Springs Conservatory; teaching acting and movement.
As an actor, Alex has had the privilege of working with The Denver Center for the Preforming Arts:Education (Little Red: A New Musical!), Theatreworks: Colorado Springs (King Hedley II, The Bluest Eye), The Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center (In the Heights, Cinderella, Bye Bye Birdie, 9 to 5, Reefer Madness), Performance Now! (Hairspray), The Great River Shakespeare Festival (Twelfth Night, The Tempest, All The Towns A Stage: A Winona Story), and Connecticut Repertory Theatre (Men on Boats, As you Like It, The Cherry Orchard). As well as stage readings with The Center for the Arts in Crested Butte (The Cake), Off Square Theatre Company (The Revolutionists).
While in grad school, Alex began her foray into Theatrical Intimacy work with Intimacy Directors and Coordinators and looks forward to gaining her certification in the near future.
