DCPA AND THE COLORADO COMMUNITY

As a non-profit organization, the Denver Center for the Performing Arts welcomes all of our neighbors into our theatres and programs. We want to collaborate with community organizations, connect with local artists, tell stories from all walks of life, and create authentic long-lasting partnerships that make everyone’s world a little more theatrical.

COLLABORATIONS WITH OUR COMMUNITY

We welcome all of our neighbors and community into our theatres and programs.

We engage and inspire through the
transformative power of live theatre.

Donate your unused tickets

Request tickets for not-for-profit use

Not-for-profit organizations holding fundraising events can apply for free ticket vouchers to a DCPA show once per year (unfortunately, you cannot request specific shows). Please submit requests three months prior to the event. Once your request is confirmed (no need to follow up on your request), you will receive an approval letter including a ticket voucher and marketing materials for the show.

Donate Tickets You Can’t Use

If your plans change, you can donate your tickets back to us for a tax break. Simply complete our form below and submit it at least one hour before your ticketed performance. All necessary information is printed on your ticket. You will receive an email confirmation of your donation for your records. Subscribers: Contact us for free ticket exchange

Tickets excluded from this policy include:

  • Group ticket purchases
  • Shows identified as “not valid” by the show’s production company
  • Other productions at the Denver Performing Arts Complex (opera, ballet, symphony, etc.)
  • Tickets returned less than one hour prior to the ticketed event (see ticket for start time)
  • Tickets to select Broadway blockbusters such as Hamilton

Please note that completed donations will be for the base value of the tickets; service fees are not included in the donation amount.

Special offers and discounts

Whenever possible, we create opportunities for discounted shows and classes. We understand that price can sometimes be a barrier to attending theatre and we actively manage our pricing and inventory to ensure our community is well-represented. Learn more about discount programs below:
