Student Matinee Field Trips

We offer a full lineup of weekday matinees for middle and high school audiences every season. Plus, one play each season is specifically chosen for its appeal to students and families. Thanks to the support of our generous individual and corporate donors, more than 17,000 students each year attend more than 30 discounted matinee performances. In addition to the performance, students can talk with the actors and teachers can use our study guides to guide in-class conversations to help bring the experience to life. Pre- and post-show workshops are available for your classroom. Theatre Company season features the gravity-defying hit Lookingglass Alice, Shakespeare’s romantic comedy As You Like It, the Tony-award winning story of President Lyndon Johnson in All The Way, and the thrilling musical Sweeney Todd reimagined by Denver’s own Grammy-winners, DeVotchKa.

Student matinees include:

  • Discounted tickets ($16) per person
  • Post-show discussions with the cast
