Description:
Ideal for a student desiring to complement his/her educational background with practical experience while working toward a career as a professional sound technician. The intern works with resident and guest professional staff members during the season. The intern will learn the various aspects of sound design, ranging from live recording sessions, recorded music and effects, to the mixing of vocals and sound during a performance. The intern will work closely with the artistic staff and gain experience working in each of the different theaters of the complex. Pending qualifications, limited stipends or housing may be available.
General requirements:
The Denver Center Theatre Company season runs from August/September through May. Internships in technical and production departments, determined by current programming and applicant qualifications, are arranged for full-season, half-season or per-production basis. These internships involve long hours, hard work and hands-on experience. We seek dedicated applicants who will strive to participate in the most professional and positive manner possible.
