Robert Davidson

Formerly director of his own aerial dance company, Mr. Davidson has been Head of Movement at the National Theatre Conservatory since 1997. As a choreographer, dancer and composer he has collaborated with numerous directors on productions of Ibsen, Chekhov, Brecht and Shakespeare.

His epic signature works, Rapture: Rumi and Airborne: Meister Eckhart, have toured throughout the United States, Europe and the former Soviet Union.  He is the first certified teacher of the Skinner Releasing Technique. Mr. Davidson holds a BA from Hamline University and did graduate work in ethno-musicology at University of Washington, Seattle.
