Brian Keeler earned an MFA from University of North Carolina (UNC) at Chapel Hill in acting and directing. He was associate artistic director of the Weathervane Theatre in New Hampshire (1975-1978) and a founding member of Merely Players (1978-1984), a play development group in New York that sent works to Broadway and theatre around the world. He was recently co-chair of the film department at The School for Film & Television in New York City. During the past 25 years as a performer, Keeler has appeared in over 100 stage productions including the long-running Off Broadway hit,
Sister Mary Ignatius, etc. with Lynn Redgrave, as well as other New York productions at Lincoln Center, Ensemble Studio Theatre, Manhattan Punchline and the Actors Studio Theatre. Regionally, he has been seen at the St. Louis Repertory Theatre, Denver Center Theatre Company, Actors Theatre of Louisville, Seattle Repertory Theatre, Buffalo Studio Arena Theatre, as well as in productions in Poland and Australia. Keeler has appeared in more than 100 on-camera television commercials and recorded hundreds of voice-overs for television and film.
